geany-plugin-vc software package provides VCS plugin for Geany, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install geany-plugin-vc
geany-plugin-vc is installed in your system.
Make ensure the geany-plugin-vc package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep geany-plugin-vc *
You will get with geany-plugin-vc package name, version, architecture and description in a table
